Marketing to specific groups of consumers, or target marketing, is one of the most important concepts in marketing. For most small businesses, overcoming all of the obstacles that get in the way of creating and executing a sound marketing strategy is not really feasible. There are many chocolate producing companies whose target market is children. A wellness provider, for example, may offer a multitude of therapies, but instead of rhyming off that long list, which can be overwhelming and confusing, share the outcome of how your customers will feel after they’ve experienced your services.

There is a constant interaction with the public in studying what is in vogue at the time and also what brands people want to be associated with. Successful marketing is really a 3-part process that involves following sound marketing theories, creating a detailed strategy, and executing that strategy.

The problem, however, is that many companies, consultants, and marketers do a lot of “theory” and talking, without taking it beyond that. Coach has built a strong brand name for themselves by being unique in their style and service and this is primarily the reason that customers create a high demand for their products.

After seeing so many television commercials and advertisements both on the Internet and on newspapers I have concluded that some companies construct their ads to create a need in the consumer’s mind even if originally they were not interested in the product.

Planning for the year ahead is never an easy task. Other tactics that companies use to shape consumers needs and wants is to use celebrities or other famous people to sell their products. Marketers and salespeople work together to determine what consumers need and how to deliver it. Sales and marketing should motivate, inspire and feed one other.

That’s why most small businesses turn to marketing experts for assistance, and when they do, their business explodes. Mike Roach, CEO of CGI, was quoted as saying, “Strategy without execution is a hallucination!” If that is true, then marketing theory without strategy and execution is psychosis.

Now, none of what I have said above gives companies a free license to do whatever they want, especially when it comes to my one, very absolute exception: Marketing to children and those who cannot be held accountable for their actions. With so much information available about companies and brands, it is truly the Age Of The Consumer and will be for a very long time.

A. Marketing merely reflects the needs and wants of customers. Companies strive to retain their customer base by delivering value and satisfaction from their products and this is formulated in consumers’ minds as a combination of service, quality and price. This is vital to being able to plan future actions and required time allocations as well as giving you the opportunity to be able to regularly track your progress against your plan.

Just because one marketing theory works for one company or even thousands of companies doesn’t necessarily mean it will work for another company. They also need to distribute their products to the consumer and this means they will need a physical location like a store, or be a wholesaler and have others retail your products for you and also sell your products on the internet.

On the marketing side, however, retention refers to maintaining a higher level of consistent engagement (through targeted marketing based on buying preferences, interests and history) so that the customer relationship doesn’t end at the initial purchase.

That is the way marketing works: Find a gap, develop a plan to address the gap, and then market to that gap.

Your marketing partner needs to be able to come up with a solid strategy and determine which tactics will best fit that strategy for your unique business. If you’re like most small and midsized companies, you and your team may not have the expertise or time to develop an ROI focused marketing and marketing communications strategy, plan or budget.

Methods need to be put in place for sharing the company’s marketing strategy with all team members and keeping them on the same page. Each plan should focus purely upon the actions required for that method, where possible detailing the time involved for each action.

It is important to note here that the retention function of a marketing department doesn’t really overlap the retention efforts of a sales team. Marketers, through the ages, have identified who their customers are, and directed their efforts at influencing their buying decisions.

Provide as much structure as possible within each marketing plan. Split each marketing method out in to its own MLM marketing plan. They can sit around and discuss all the latest marketing tactics and even try to put them in place, but in the end, it’s all for naught if they don’t develop a solid strategy and execution steps to make it work for their business.

No doubt if you are trying to progress on your journey to MLM success and you have been doing some training and some research then you will have discovered the importance of having a good MLM marketing plan in place. This plan is going to be the key to your time management as well as a guide to keep you on track with all of your individual plans and actions. It is so important to partner with a company that can do more than just talking about marketing theory. The word free is usually a powerful catalyst that springs the consumer into buying that particular product or idea even though he or she might not need it. I think other terms also kind of bait people into buying things they don’t need.

One of the basics of all marketing and advertising training is a teaching of “Maslow’s needs pyramid”. Some companies do act unethical in their advertising, for example I have seen some ads on the internet especially where companies would advertise a product and make it very¬†appealing to the consumer then at the very bottom is tiny fonts the word ‘restrictions apply’ they would hide the link that takes you to where the restrictions are listed.

It is not a marketing employee’s responsibility to follow up with a salesperson’s existing customer once the lead has been handed off, nor is it their responsibility to convert a lead to a sale, “close the deal,” or make sure the client remains a client for many years.

Marketing channels are also used by companies to reach their consumers. As a result, decisions are often made without the consultation of the marketing strategy, and that means they are not likely to be in alignment with the strategy. Especially for small companies, one thing or another can come up that gets the business owner off track, and unfortunately, when that happens, marketing tends to move to the back burner.

Bottom line to this long winded explanation is this: making THE RIGHT TYPE OF CALL THE RIGHT WAY in conjunction with modern technology and other marketing tools can make a huge difference in your business. We as people like consistency and if a marketer provides consistent service in addition to great products and price then we will keep on going back for years.

Once you have your MLM marketing plans and overall time management plan in place then do your best to stick to it. Try not to procrastinate. Before you put any plans in place you should have spent some time setting your goals. After all, remaining consistent is essential when it comes to digital marketing, but so is changing with the times.
